Juan Juarez
Computer Tutor
Juan Juarez has a deep passion and empathetic nature as a dedicated Student Success Specialist with UNM-Taos. Juan initially engaged with UNM-Taos as part of the work study program in the internet technology department. As such, Juan has a unique understanding and excitement to support the next generation in reaching their potential. His commitment and hard work led him to complete an Associates of Applied Science in General Studies, a Certificate in painting and drawing and ultimately a Bachelor's degree from UNM main campus in Art Studio.
Upon returning home, Juan accpeted a full-time position at UNM-Taos, serving as an inventory control clerk and an Internet Technology Support Tech 1. In his role as an IT tech, he found great satisfaction in working with computers, from software intricacies to the foundational aspects of computer hardware. Juan is thrilled to bring his experience, dedication, and knowledge in technology and computer support to the HIVE.
