UNM-Taos HIVE proudly sponsors STEMarts Lab and presents a series titled "STEMarts Youth Bootcamps: Learn from Scientists. Create with Artists." These full-day sci-art workshops enable students to cultivate digital media art skills and enhance their scientific literacy, focusing on understanding the universe and space exploration to inspire creative expression. Youth Coding League
The Youth Coding League is an innovative and complete learning program, built for schools and community organizations, that introduces 5th-8th graders to computer science and coding. The YCL focuses on access, inclusion, and self-efficacy for all, and UNM-Taos HIVE is proud to bring such dynamic programming to schools in the Taos community. The Center on Rural Innovation (CORI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization partnering with rural leaders across the country to build tech economies that support scalable entrepreneurship and lead to more tech jobs in rural America.
Through our partnership with CORI we are able to offer free online tech upskilling classes and certifications.
