Anya Slavina, PhD

Anya (they/them) is a neurodivergent tech wizard who has a fancy degree in human-computer interaction and is excited about getting more people involved in making the technologies of the future. They've created and taught classes on emerging technologies, inclusive user-experience research, diverse perspectives on technology, and human-AI collaboration. Aside from enjoying and taking a critical lens on everything about technology, they also enjoy spending time outdoors snowboarding, mountain biking, and hiking (amongst other things) in beautifully chaotic Northern New Mexico.

Anya is also the artist responsible for the bees buzzing around the website, as well as for the current layout of the site. They love tech and will gladly teach you how to wield it to do cool stuff.
