Jeff Jaeckle, PhD

Jeff Jaeckle has been teaching courses on college composition and research for over 20 years. When not hiking, camping, or kayaking around Northern New Mexico, where he has lived since 2018, Jeff is also an avid writer, editor, and film geek. His books on movies include Film Dialogue (2013), The Films of Preston Sturges (2015), and The Films of Barbara Kopple (2019). He is also the vice president of the Taos-based nonprofit Black Bird Refuge, which seeks to make sustainability and mindfulness practices more accessible to youth and adults.
